1️⃣ Understand customer needs

They talk to the customer and understand:

• Business problems

• Current processes

• Future goals

2️⃣ Design the right solution

They decide:

• Which Dynamics 365 apps to use

• Whether Power Platform is needed

• How systems should integrate

• What should be standard vs customized

👉 “This is the best way to solve your problem using Microsoft tools.”

3️⃣ Work with requirements

They:

• Review business requirements

• Validate if requirements are realistic

• Convert business needs into technical direction

4️⃣ Perform Fit-Gap Analysis

This is very important 👇

• Fit → Requirement is already supported by standard Dynamics/Power Platform

• Gap → Requirement needs customization or workaround

👉 Helps avoid unnecessary customization and cost.

5️⃣ Work closely with the delivery team

Even though they don’t “click buttons”:

• They guide developers and consultants

• Review designs

• Ensure best practices

• Make sure the solution will work now and in the future
