If you are allocated to a project, you can use the VM of your organizations. You can create a new model for you and then you can practice it. If there are any restriction in your organization then you can follow below general steps to install VHD locally. Here is the link.
Creating a project in LCS is not mandatory.
Users can access the Shared Asset Library to get the VHD files.
Users must download all parts of one version (like 10.0.43).
Hard drive space is critical — especially on the C: drive — and users should be warned early.
