A Senior Technical Consultant plays both a development and solution design role. They take ownership of technical architecture, code quality, and team mentoring.
Design and architect technical solutions based on functional requirements.
Develop complex customizations, integrations (OData, custom web services, API), and Azure integrations.
Optimize performance and scalability of D365 F&O applications.
Lead code reviews and enforce development standards (naming conventions, patterns, extensions).
Create and maintain technical design documents (TDD) and data models.
Implement and support extensions, event handlers, chain of command (CoC), and custom frameworks.
Manage deployments via LCS, build pipelines (Azure DevOps), and environment management.
Coordinate with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Mentor junior developers and perform knowledge transfer sessions.
Handle incident analysis and root cause identification for production issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Proactive in suggesting process improvements and automation opportunities.
Acts as a bridge between functional, technical, and infrastructure teams.
