1. What Are Transport Days?
Transport Days represent the time required for goods to physically move from one location to another. They are a critical input in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management for building accurate delivery promises.

Think of Transport Days as the road, not the warehouse
ATP tells you when the goods leave. Transport Days tell you how long the truck is on the road. Add the two together and you get the real customer receipt date.
2. How Transport Days Work
The system takes the ship or receipt date calculated by the delivery date control method (ATP, Sales Lead Time, ATP + Issue Margin, or CTP), then adds Transport Days on top of it to produce the final confirmed delivery date.
