This item tests the candidate’s knowledge of using inventory reservations in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management as part of the order fulfillment process. Reserving in stock inventory is correct as you can reserve stocked products where there is actual inventory available. Similarly, you can reserve inventory that has been ordered but not yet received as it will be committed as available stock when the order arrives. The worker cannot reserve services such as installation because there is no on-hand inventory with a service. Similarly, out of stock inventory that is unavailable and not back ordered is not available for reservation as reservable on-hand inventory.
