Let the present age of the son = x
Then, the present age of the mother = 60 - x
As per the question:
Six years ago, the mother's age was 5 times the age of her son:
(60 - x) - 6 = 5(x - 6)
54 - x = 5x - 30

x = 14 years
So, the son's present age is 14 years and his age after 6 years will be 14 + 6 = 20 years.
