ER মডেলে দুটি বিশেষ ধরনের attribute এবং তাদের ব্যবহার।
যে attribute-এর একাধিক মান থাকতে পারে, তাকে multivalued attribute বলে। ER ডায়াগ্রামে double oval দিয়ে দেখানো হয়।
উদাহরণ: একজন ছাত্রের একাধিক Phone Number বা একাধিক Email থাকতে পারে।
যে attribute অন্য attribute থেকে গণনা করে পাওয়া যায়, তাকে derived attribute বলে। ER ডায়াগ্রামে dashed oval দিয়ে দেখানো হয়।
উদাহরণ: Age attribute, যা Date of Birth থেকে calculate করা হয়।
