    ● Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was born on September 25, 1916 in Nagla Chandraban village of Mathura district.

    ● Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a man of simple living and determination. He was a brilliant student, skilled organizer, writer, journalist, thinker, philosopher, true nationalist and outstanding humanist.
    ● Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a full-time worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
    ● He established the publishing house 'Rashtra Dharma Prakashan' in Lucknow.
    ● He launched the monthly magazine 'Rashtra Dharma' to propound his principles. Later he started the weekly 'Panchjanya' and the daily 'Swadesh'.
    ● Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay was the founding member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. After becoming the general secretary of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he also became the president.
