    ●  Zakir Hussain Khan was born on February 8, 1897 in Hyderabad, India.
    ●  Hussain's primary education was completed in Hyderabad.

    ●  He served as the third President of India from May 13, 1967 to May 3, 1969.
    ●  He completed his high school education from Islamia High School, Etawah and later graduated in Economics from Christian Degree College, Lucknow University.
    ●  After graduation, he moved to the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College, where he became a prominent student leader.
    ●  When Zakir Hussain was 23 years old, along with a group of students and teachers he founded the National Muslim University, now known as Jamia Millia Islamia (a central university).
    ●  He served as the Governor of Bihar from 1957 to 1962 and as the Vice President of India from 1962 to 1967.
    ●  He was awarded with India's highest civilian honor 'Bharat Ratna' in 1963.
    ●  He was elected as the first Muslim President of India on May 13, 1967.
    ●  Zakir Hussain was the first Indian President to die in office on May 3, 1969.
