    There are three  important types tense, they are

    • 1.Present Tense
    • 2.Past Tense
    • 3.Future Tense

    Present Tense

    Simple Present

    I teach English.

    Present Continuous

    Sub + am/is/are + V1 + ing form

    I am teaching English.

    Present Perfect

    Sub + has/have + V3

    I have taught English.

    Present Perfect Continuous

    Sub + has/have + been + V1 + ing form

    I have been teaching English.

    She’s eating toast.

    They are eating lunch now.

    He isn’t eating.

    When are they eating? Is he eating now?

    present perfect

    subject + have / has + past participle

    I’ve eaten breakfast. He has eaten lunch.

    subject + have / has + not + past participle

    We haven’t eaten yet.

    She hasn’t eaten the chocolate.

    present perfect continuous

    I’ve been eating.

    She’s been eating biscuits all day.

    I will be eating at 8pm.

    future perfect

    subject + will + have + past participle

    I will have eaten lunch by 3 o’clock. She’ll have eaten all the chocolate.

    He won’t have eaten lunch yet. They will not have eaten their

    sandwiches.

    future perfect continuous

    They will have been eating fruit. We’ll have been eating all day.
